Restoration of 1939 Knud Reimers 14.25 meter yacht Tre

TRE started life as "PAN 3", designed by Reimers in 1938 and built in 1939 by the Jensen Boat Yard, Roskilde, Denmark of African mahogany on Oak frames. Eventually four racers from San Diego found her, placed an offer, and she was shipped to Southern California. Renamed BONGO, she won the Lipton Cup in 1961. Later she was sold again and sailed to the Pacific Northwest, where current owner Elise Brewster found her. She was brought to Berkeley Marine Center, where Elise began a long an loving regeneration.
