Autonomous Solar Robo-Boat - A Solar Powered Autonomous Electric Boat for Scientific Research

This boat was designed for Willow Garage to carry experimental packages and explore the oceans by remote control. With the requirement for solar power a large deck area was required in combination with a very easily driven hull form. The battery tray can be tilted by electric power to tilt the deck toward the sun or to right the hull after a capsize.
