Rosie G
A scow-bow cruising boat dreamed up decades ago

Rosie is a boat decades in the making - her basic design concepts were sparked in the 70s when Barry Spanier was cruising in the South Pacific. Her scow bow, walk-through cabin, junk rig, and shallow draft are among the many features that make her a unique cruising platform for Barry and his wife Samantha. Barry, who is a legend in the windsurfing circles and one of the founders of Maui Sails, brought his ideas to Antrim and S.V. Rosie was born.

Rosie is currently being built at Berkeley Marine Center. You can follow her progress on Barry's blog: https://reddogyachts.com/home

  • Volume forward in the beamy shape creates a huge space (approx 13’ x 8’) that can have any choice for use, from light cargo to private cabins.
